“Love Junkies the Musical” is a musical in three acts, written and directed by San Francisco artist Tiziana Perinotti. The show features San Francisco Bay Area artists and Argentine tango dancers.
The plot follows a number of characters in various ways connected to, discovering, or experiencing Argentine tango. The musical's connection to Argentine tango is highlighted by several dance numbers performed by some of San Francisco Bay Area's top tango talent: Count Glover and Lisette Perelle, Ramada Salieri and Sonya Nagaslaeva, and Leo Landa and Alona Gorer. The show features original music by Ramada Salieri, as well as several signature custom-made performance dresses by Alona Gorer, including the “Diva Ariela” dress.
The show premiered in November 2014 at the A.C.T. Theater Costume Shop in San Francisco, with a sold-out weekend.
